I am on a dog tribe and they started a nick name thread. I thought this was funny because I have so many names for my dog, but more for my cat. Such as:
Shihero....AKA
Little Man
Little Thing
Mr. Thing
Little Man Beast
Mr. Man Sir
Precious Man Beast
Precious
Is this weird. What names do you have for your cats???? And please we need to post more and keep this tribe alive. Long live Kitties Tribe!!!!!!!!!

Re: ****NICKNAMES????****
Tue, March 15, 2005 - 1:05 PMwhen Tonya interrupts me while i'm on the phone (she has the strange need that seems common to every 2 year old of making lots of noise whenever i'm talking) i call her Baby Shitty-cat (because in addition to her "talking" she attacks - mostly biting - the hand-set and the hand holding it) - of course i make sure to say it affectionately so she doesn't realize what i'm calling her
otherwise her and her sister Shadow are usually (and interchangeably)
"bratty kitty" "little monkey" or "kitty freak-out" (the last of these being reserved for when either of them is bouncing off the walls chasing imaginary objects) -

Re: ****NICKNAMES????****
Tue, March 15, 2005 - 3:58 PMoh yeah, my other nickname for Tonya, because sometimes she makes these noises that are less of a meow than a weird combination honk/squeak - "Little Squeaky Puss"....
(it sounds like " mmhA'! " and "Meh!" and "ME!").... and yeah, i frequently call them both "baby kitty" too
---- meanwhile, i can only imagine the cognitive dissonance it causes in people whoknew me when i was younger and remember my reputation as a generally mean and nasty hardcase to see that i have such a soft-spot for my kitties... heh. -----
