      I used to have a big tuxedo cat named Rufus, one of my ex's swiped him, just like the one after her cat-napped my Sammael
      (talk about hitting me where it hurts... i still miss those two cats more than i miss those two ex's)

      my Rufus was black w/ white whiskers, eyebrows, white feet and a triangular white patch on his chest.

      on particularly lazy days, if he had been sleeping and his sunbeam moved far enough that he should have gotten up and walked to the new spot, he'dlay there on his side and slither over to it, but thanks to some of his more hyper days, i had to re-screen my screen-door five times because he could be a high-flying lunatic

        Yeah he's a kid in a cat suit.

        I shouldn't talk smack - he's the sweetest cat I've ever met, even though his first owners declawed him and abandoned him on the roof of their building. When a neighbor finally discovered him his fur had completely matted up, and he couldn't clean himself, so he was plagued by flies, and maggots were literally eating him alive. Skin and bones too. He became our vet's first big project. When we adopted him, he still had a gaping wound in his hip where the maggots had burrowed deepest.

          first off how could you abandon a living thing that looked like him.
          hes so awesome looking.

          im surprised that he only just pees on the bed when hes depressed.

          how do you know he was abandoned? (not an escape)

            He could have escaped and maybe gotten trapped up there somehow, but it seems more likely that he was put up there. There was a food dish on the roof, and he was there for a long time. I don't know if the food dish was his owner or the neighbor who eventually brought him in to the vet. Maybe he was put there for peeing. People suck.

            The first guy who tried to adopt him took him back to the vet after two days for jumping on his antique furniture and peeing on the floor. When he returned Rufus to the vet he gave the vet a painting of a cat being crucified. He painted it himself. He thought it was funny, and said that that's what he wanted to do to Rufus. What an ass.

              yeh painting that is kinds sick.
              it makes me wonder about people like that....do they have kids?
              would they do the same thing to the kids?
              i have never liked anyone that cant handle all the little bad things that pets do.
              its just so stupid...if you get an ANIMAL....sometimes it will act like one and piss on the floor.

              btw - if you dont have a little green machine they are great for cleaning up cat puke and pee spots.
              as for your bed to keep the matress fresh they sell liners that you can put on it to keep moisture out. it just goes on the liner quilting. the backing is waterproof.
