I think your kitty is just happy and healthy, I am convinced that cats have vivid imaginations because they do act so crazy, and I think they have a greater range of sounds than people give them credit for my little Snowflake barked when I gave her a bath! I just got two babies and that brings my cat family up to nine! ( I do live out in the country) I don't know if you have more than one cat but kitty may want a playmate.

Yea she definitely is very happy.. she makes all kinds of noises.. she's also one of the friendliest kitties I've ever come across.. not a mean streak in her littie hairy body... I love it..

I have an older dog.. they play sometimes.. but my dog Casey sometimes just doesnt want to be bothered.. but she will run up to my Sierra and give her a big ol' lick.. (its too cute)

I've heard her chirping at the birds before and clicking her teeth.. I was told that was the huntress in her.. her wild side..

Most of the time she mews.. although not like a normal mew compaired to other cats.. haha.. she's a strange lovable little cookie!

        How old is she???

My cat shihero used to do the same thing and still does once in a while. He makes these crazy noises and runs around like hes crazy. Is she in an inside cat?? I am just wondering because he seemed to do it more when I lived in an apartment and he didn't get outside as much. He would also do it when I would tell him no...hahahaha...almost like he'd be throwing a fit because I dodn't want him in the counter. But...he would also do it for no reason as well.

On that note....my female cat did that when she was younger too. She is now pretty mellow, but my man cat still does it once and a while. I think its funny some of the noises that cats make.

She just turned 2 in May..

She's an inside cat, I live in a house.. she's pretty much got run of the whole house.. I try to let her outside... but she won't go beyond the end of the patio.. she's scared of grass lmao!

But all the better.. I wouldnt want her to get hurt outside.. I live near a busy road.. nope nope.. she stays inside where its safe

Yeah...thats how it was with my cat. I lived near a busy street and didn't let him out unless I went out with him. Plus he was such a scardy cat (no pun intended) he didn't go far. But he was more crazy when he didn't go outside. Same with my other cat...who lives at my boyfriend's house.

I think its just from lack of nature time. I am not saying to let him out, but sometimes cats get crazy because they are not outside. They feel it in their blood (the need to be in nature). My two cats have mellowed since they get to venture outdoor. See right now I am living back at home which is in the country...so my cat has a big forest to roam in and I am not by a busy road.

Sad part is though...I am moving in a few weeks. I am living with two ppl that are alergic. :( I can't take him with me. He will be happier here anyways...with all the space to roam. I am going to cry buckets...this is the first cat that I have grown sooooooooo attached to.

Yes I will indeed visit. My dog lives here too (with my parents). I know they are both happier here with all the places to roam. Its just hard for me because I love to curl up and sleep with my cat every night.

My dog has lived with my parents for sometime and is now pretty much my mom's. She is in love with my cat too so I know he'll be well taken care of....plus she threw down $400 on him to save his life last summer :) I am just going to misss having a cuddle buddy!!!!

Definitely normal in indoor cats-my cat does this too, and I'm having to move things to safer places...I even came home yesterday to find blue kitty toe prints-she knocked over a tightly sealed stamp pad ink bottle,it still leaked just the same- on my white kitchen counter, and had to clean my cat's toes off with dish soap and kitty shampoo. The blue prints are still there on the counter-I used several things already, may need to use OxiClean on them...The running around? It's called vacuum activity, it is because they don't have *the wide open spaces* outdoors to roam. Needless to say, indoors is much safer for cats...Marta
